Enabling Wireless Plug and Play Customer Behavior Tracking

At the opening of the National Retail Federation tradeshow, Smartvue(R) Corporation, an award-winning technology leader in the IP video industry, announced the Smartvue S6 visual business intelligence solution. S6 is a completely portable wireless IP video device that enables plug and play video analytics for customer and employee behavior tracking.

Smartvue S6 is a revolutionary new product for retail intelligence. It features 802.11N draft wireless cameras and recorders that can cover almost any size retail store without wires. S6 cameras snap into almost any track lighting utilizing the patent-pending TrackVue technology which enables easy setup and complete camera mobility. Without complex installation and customization, the in-camera Intellivue analytics algorithms accurately identify people and count their movements. As a true "edge device," Smartvue S6 can plug into almost any network and puts zero strain on network resources for complete scalability from one to thousands of locations. Customer behavior data is tracked and stored in the S6 wireless recorders for access at anytime through a user friendly web interface. Data can be quickly and easily exported to Excel or most business intelligence and data mining applications. Data reports and video can be viewed real-time from any local, remote PC, or cell phone. S6 works on both Apple and Windows computers and runs in most common browsers.

Smartvue S6 will available in March through select retail consultants and resellers worldwide as well as from Smartvue directly. Smartvue products are designed and manufactured in the United States.
