If you're looking for a Web-enabled wireless camera to use with a home security
system (or to keep an eye on the kids), the Hawking HNC230G Wireless-G Network
Camera might be worth checking out. At under $90, the cam comes with web server
software, a built-in wireless G router, and mounting hardware. Sure, you only
get 6 fps at 320x240, but you're not looking to win an Oscar with this one; just
monitoring for intruders (or rowdy rugrats). Craig Froehl of GearBits put some
of his own green down on one of these, and found it to be "a budget offering ?#8364;?
that doesn't disappoint."
