Video Server includes one or more analog video
inputs, image digitizer, image compressor and Web server with a network modem
interface. Video server digitizes analog video sources and distributes digital
images over a computer network, turning an analog camera into a network camera.
It is ideal for integration with eXisting analog CCTV (closed circuit
television) system. Video server uses H.263 compression standards to compress
and encode the video image, then sends out over the network by TCP/IP protocol.
It can be operated independently without computer. User on the Ethernet network
and user on the INTERNET can access it by standard eXplorer browser. Users can
use it to real-time monitor the object in all directions.
Video server has many powerful functions, plug and
play. Because of the integrated distribution replacement of the trouble CCTV
cabling, the video monitoring system using video server really amalgamates the
digital network and CCTV network into one network.
