2005- The new PTC-401C IP Network PTZ combines digital video output from a
built-in web server with MPEG-4/motion JPEG compression; and analog video output
in one unit while making the digitized video available over LAN, WAN, or public
Ethernet connections. Excellent for surveillance, Elmo's first day/night IP
camera uses a removable IR cut filter to improve images in low light. Its audio
functions also make it effective in videoconferencing systems. The camera is
designed for indoor installation.
The camera employs a unique dual
compression package which delivers simultaneous, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG video. This
makes it possible to adjust image size and quality to meet the needs of a
specific application or changing network conditions. The camera delivers up to
30fps for users viewing with either the client software or web
browsers.
The camera allows analog video to be fed to a standard CCTV
system, viewed and recorded with Elmo's proprietary software over the network,
as well as remote viewing with any web browser. This gives the integrator more
options when assigning which users have access to what analog or network video.
Site security is further assured by using IP filters to restrict access to
selected eligible users only.
The PTC-401C IP audio capability permits
clear 2-way voice communication with remote sites over IP networks from
monitoring PCs.
Continuous tracking as the subject passes under the
camera or changes direction is achieved with The Image Flip feature, so the
operator never sees an inverted image.
The camera offers storage and easy
access to all images in one location with FTP and allows simultaneous access by
up to 100 users.
High quality optics, advanced PTZ technology help spot
problems and identify intruders accurately. It provides up to 192x magnification
with high speed 12x optical zoom and 16x digital extender plus full auto
focus/manual capability. The camera delivers detailed images using advanced DSP
circuitry with a 1/4 inch IT 410,000 pixel CCD, high 470 TVL(H)
resolution.
It assures excellent surveillance at every location.
User-programmable pre-sets for up to 16 pre-set positions, 8 speed settings
capture details from every angle, close-ups and wide angle shots. Motion
detection and event setup alarm inputs with 2 pre-sets alert security to
problems.
