Toshiba is now offering its IK-WB02A IP network camera in an economical kit
that i
ncludes the camera, a choice of either a 2.9-8.0mm or 5.0-50.0mm Fuji
lens, along with a 24VAC 20VA plug-in transformer and a 6-inch universal mount
for indoor applications.
Delivering an impressive feature-set that includes Power over Ethernet, 2-way
audio, and built-in motion detection, the camera brings the latest video
surveillance technologies to homes, schools, government facilities, casinos,
businesses and other security-conscious operations while significantly helping
to reduce the total cost of installation. Other key features include up to 30FPS
video streaming; 640 x 480 resolution; low light performance down to 0.2
lux@F1.0 with day/night imaging; and a wide dynamic range of 2,500K to
10,000K.
Another benefit of the camera is a built-in SD Card slot that makes the
camera an all-in-one recording solution. The SD card records activity at the
camera. After an incident, the user simply takes out the SD Card and plays it
back on a computer to view captured video at one frame per second.
Capable of interfacing with both new and existing systems, the IK-WB02A uses
network video out to connect to recorders through RJ 45 connections, plus it is
backwards compatible with standard monitors and recorders thanks to its analog
BNC output. Toshiba America Information Systems
